This beautiful antique 1940s Persian scatter rug from the Hamadan region of Persia features the classic Herati motif, also known as the fish motif, in the main field with a wonderful abrash effect that gives it such a unique charm. One of the most interesting aspects of this rug is the S-hook motif present in the border bands. This ancient symbol has been used for centuries to ward off the evil eye, making this rug not only an awesome addition to any space but also a protective one.

Crafted by the skilled hands of master weavers, this small adorable rug has a good wool pile that's fluffy to the touch. It's perfect for high-traffic areas like entryways or living rooms, where its durability will shine.
