Gorgeous SABATIER vintage Chef Knife. This knife has been fully restored & professionally sharpened. It would make a great all purpose knife or carving knife This is a phenomenal workhorse of a knife! French style chef’s knife made of carbon steel. See note below. the full tang, carbon steel blade has been fully polished. this molded carbon steel blade has beautiful detail around the bolster and the brass rivets are lovely. the Sabatier logo stamp is worn down a bit on the handle. the handle material is not wood. the handle is super tight to the steel & there are no gaps forming here. excellent condition for its age. the blade is SHARP & true. the blade shows some wear consistent with use and some minor blemishes add to its overall patina. ** Please note, this knife is made of carbon steel which discolors easily and requires special care to prevent rust. If you are not familiar with using carbon steel knives, I recommend doing some research before purchasing or gifting. hand wash only.
