This is a Lot of 4 gorgeous grill plates, also known as divided plates from California Pottery / Metlox. The first mention of the California Pottery grill plate was in 1938 when they were offered along with the purchase of a bar of soap for $.69 from the White King Products Co. There are no chips, cracks or crazing to the pottery. Overall, very excellent condition. 2 plates are in a Rust/Sunset shade, 1 is Turquoise/Aqua and 1 is Orange Red. The diameter of each plate is about 10 1/2. There is a tiny glaze flake on the Turquoise/Aqua plate which is visible in the photos. Great set of plates that are not so easy to find.
