We suggest not using aluminum ice cube trays available on E-bay or at a garage sale as tiny particles of toxic aluminum could end up in your iced tea. Please be sure to clean well before and after using - it is dishwasher-safe. There are many little nooks and crannies in the mechanism, so food residue and dust can get caught. For these little spaces we suggest using a Q-tip with vinegar or baking soda in warm water.
