With its long blade & scalloped edge, the serrated knife works like a saw - smoothly slicing through a variety of foods. Especially well-suited to cutting through things with a hard exterior & soft interior (think ‘fresh baked bread’ - hence the name ‘bread knife’)
- ideal for slicing bread products - from baguettes to bagels (and everything in between)
- great for cutting tomatoes + other fruits & veggies that are tougher outside & softer inside
- actually, make that ‘perfect’ for tomatoes, especially soft ones
- great for shaping and leveling cakes for decorating
