Whenever I make this for someone (especially my mom who absolutely LOVES it) they can not believe there is no added cream in this silky omelette. They key 🔑 is cooking on low heat and using the proper technique. Here are some key tips: ⭐️ A nonstick pan is a MUST!! I can’t tell you how many ruin omelettes happened due to not using a nonstick pan . ⭐️ Keep the heat on LOW! The eggs will go from beautiful and silky to over cooked in no time. Keeping the heat low allows you to better control it and gives you more wiggle room, especially for beginners. ⭐️ Use a nonstick silicone SPATULA! This will allow you to best manipulate the eggs in the pan. It helps form the soft curds, gently scrap the bottom of the nonstick pan and then roll the omelette in the end. ⭐️ Keep the fillings LIGHT! A key characteristic of a French omelette is how simple and delicate it is. Adding a ton of fillings will make it difficult to stay together. Stick to herbs or a soft cheese.
